Intended Audience

This blog is intended for anybody who finds it useful really, but if you are looking at the Ncurses stuff it would be advisable to have a working knowledge of Ncurses.

If you are hoping to use Ncurses in production I would highly recommend buying yourself a copy of Programmer’s Guide to NCurses which will give you a sound grounding in Ncurses basics and is an excellent reference manual.

Once you have a grounding in Ncurses you could benefit a great deal from going through the following short online tutorials on the various add on libraries that are bundled with Ncurses.

Apparently there is a C++ wrapper but I cannot find a single word of documentation on it anywhere other than a text file in the source so I just haven’t bothered with it.

The Debian Server section is my my notes on configuring my own server, it may be useful to others, but that was never its initial intention, so if you find it useful happy days, if not then that’s ok too, but as they are my own notes I offer no guarantee that they will work with your configuration.
